Successful printing begins with quality prepress work. In order to ensure that quality metal plates are produced, we utilize a AGFA, Acento CTP which is a chemistry free system. Blue Octopus Printing only utilizes metal plates to achieve the best possible quality.
In order to properly receive the files, a secure FTP site is available. This will allow you to quickly upload large files while knowing that they are secure. Electronically, you may choose from both Mac and Windows programs to preflight your files, through programs such as Quark, Indesign, Illustrator or other Adobe Software. We have the latest CS-4 suite software and utilize the most advanced Mac hardware with a 27” monitor. Prior to the plates being completed, you will received an electronic PDF or hard copy proof to review.

Our lead prepress manager has 30 years of experience in the printing business and will work with every customer to ensure that the files and proofs are completed with high quality and within established deadlines.
